Skylar the Dancer

Saturday afternoon, we attended Skylar Lockhart's dance recital. She is our wonderful granddaughter. She was Great. Skylar did two numbers and Looked Great! Wow, she's a really good dancer. I would say she was one of the best for her age. She knew her steps and followed the music with real good timing. Flash pictures were not allowed so we had to do the available light thing.

Logan Goes Under the Knife

Well, we were surprised when Logan went for a physical to get ready for school and as one of the requirements for a scout merit badge, Personal Fitness. He had a hernia. The doctor called the surgeon and was able to schedule the minor surgery 2 days later.
His older brother Trey had a similar condition which was taken care of in an equally quick manner.
As you can see we arrived at Children's Hospital here in Chattanooga and found ourselves in a kid friendly environment right away. They even had a video game on the wall that was operated through the touch screen, cool. After a few games on that and a few kids lined up to take their time on this fancy game he was ready to move on. Finally a nurse anesthetist called us over and gave us the straight stuff on what was about to happen. You can see by the beginning pictures that Logan was attempting to 'look' ill. But, that didn't last long. Fun and silliness prevailed. I was having a little fun too. Then in comes the 'backless' gown except this one had flaps that 'flapped over'. Oh, Modest 'L' no mercy for you here. . . Opps, This is how Logan felt AFTER the surgery. A little BLURRY. Ugh.....
Bottom Line, it's now Sunday. Yesterday, L did his usual thing on the wake board. Hmmmmm.
